They were attempting a break and enter from a unit in Mosman Street, Mosman, when police were called by someone who noticed their suspicious behaviour.

One of the men was found hiding in a garden in Shadworth St, the others were found by police sitting in a car.

When police searched them they found personal papers of a person who had been the victim of a home invasion in Bellevue Street in Blacktown earlier in the day.

The three were arrested and questioned, but let go as police in Mosman and Blacktown are continuing their inquiries.
